As a sculptor I create figurative and semi abstracted pieces in terracotta and white earthenware clay

In painting I try to capture the cold, bleak harshness of the Highland environment, autumn and winter are my favourite seasons

In more whimsical moments I allow my imagination to wander and the results are miniature watercolour images which I now print as cards
