
A collection
of graphite sketches and acrylic paintings of scenes and
everyday activities set in remote bothies in the
Highlands of Scotland.
Bothies are
less busy in winter, the solitude amply compensating for
them being cold, dark, dusty and frequently mouse
infested. After a day on the hill they are a welcome
sight in the failing light of a December dusk. In no
time at all the fire is lit and the camping stove
bubbling away with the first brew of the evening....
